Little School = Big Heart

Encouraging Education Support for Families

Philosophy

Here at Little School by the Creek we count it a joy and a privilege to participate in the education and development of our students.  Our goal is to not only work with the student but to partner with families to create an ideal learning environment and provide the support needed for success.  This holds true no matter which services you participate in; whether your student is in public school, getting ready to graduate and move on to secondary education, or just getting started in a homeschool environment, we want to assist you in putting together short-term and long-term educational goals.

💡 What Is the CHOOSE Act?
The CHOOSE Act is Alabama’s Education Savings Account (ESA) program that allows eligible families to use state-allocated funds for approved educational expenses outside of traditional public school settings. This includes private school tuition, tutoring, homeschool curriculum, online courses, and more.

✅ We’re an Approved CHOOSE Act Vendor
We are proud to be an approved vendor for the CHOOSE Act. This means Alabama families who qualify for ESA funds can apply those funds directly toward our:

  • Weekly tutorial classes
  • A la carte academic and elective courses
  • ACT prep and tutoring
  • Curriculum materials (where applicable)
📝 How It Works
  1. Apply for the CHOOSE Act ESA through the official state portal (when applications are open).
  2. Once approved, you’ll receive an ESA account funded by the state.
  3. Use your ESA portal to search for approved vendors—find us listed there!
  4. Choose and enroll in the services that best fit your family’s needs.
